माळसेजघाट

माळसेजघाटात अनेक पठार आहेत जे उत्कृष्ट दृश्ये देतात. पावसाळ्यात हिरवीगार हिरवळ, धुके असलेले पर्वत आणि निसर्गरम्य धबधबे हे या ठिकाणचे सर्वात आकर्षक वैशिष्ट्य आहे. हिवाळ्यात शेकडो फ्लेमिंगो दिसणारे हे सरोवर एक अनोखे दृश्य आहे. सुमारे ४० किमी अंतरावर असलेला शिवनेरी किल्ला मराठा शासक शिवाजी यांचे जन्मस्थान म्हणून प्रसिद्ध आहे. या भागातील तिसर्‍या शतकात परत जाणाऱ्या अनेक बौद्ध लेण्यांपैकी काहींनाही तुम्ही भेट देऊ शकता. पर्यटक संध्याकाळी जुन्नर शहराजवळील ओझर येथे असलेल्या श्री विघ्नेश्वर मंदिरात सहल करू शकतात आणि रिसॉर्टवर परत येऊ शकतात.

Sightseeing Highlights:
Malsejghat has several plateaus that offer excellent views. One of the most attractive features of this place is the views afforded during the Monsoons with the lush greenery, the misty mountains, and waterfalls dotting the landscape. The lake, where one can see hundreds of flamingoes in winter, is a unique sight. Shivneri Fort which lies around 40 km away is famous as the birthplace of the Maratha ruler, Shivaji. One can also visit some of the many Buddhist Caves going back to the 3rd century in the area. Tourists can take a trip to the Shri Vighneshwar temple situated at Ozar near Junnar town in the evening and return back to the resort o/n halt
Day 03: Malsej-Mumbai/Pune
