भंडारदरा हिल स्टेशन

विल्सन धरण
प्रवरा-नदीवर 1910 मध्ये बांधलेले आणि 150 मीटर उंचीवर असलेले विल्सन धरण हे भारतातील सर्वात मोठे मातीचे धरण आहे. विल्सन डॅमच्या पायथ्याशी, दाट हिरवळ, नाले आणि अवाढव्य वृक्षांनी संपन्न एक बाग आहे- नंतरचे, शेकडो निरुपद्रवी फळ वटवाघुळांचे घर आहे जे दिवसभर फांद्यांमधून अनिश्चितपणे हात लावतात. पावसाळ्यात, जेव्हा तलावाची पातळी वाढते, तेव्हा धरण पाण्याचा प्रवाह सोडण्यासाठी त्याचे दरवाजे उघडते जे खाली मैदानी प्रदेशाकडे जाते. तुम्ही बागेच्या तटबंदीच्या काठावर उभे राहून मस्त स्प्रेचा आनंद घेऊ शकता किंवा पावसाळ्यात आणखी एक प्रमुख आकर्षण असलेल्या नयनरम्य अंब्रेला फॉल्सला भेट देऊ शकता.
आर्थर तलाव
हा तलाव प्रवरा नदीद्वारे भरला जातो आणि शहरापासून सुमारे 10 किमी अंतरावर आहे. पार्श्वभूमीत ढगांनी झाकलेल्या पर्वतांच्या दृश्यांसह आश्चर्यकारक तलावाच्या खोल आणि स्वच्छ पाण्यात बोटिंग खरोखर चित्तथरारक आहे. स्थानिक लोक पर्यटकांसाठी रांगेत बोटी चालवतात आणि प्रति व्यक्ती प्रति राइड 20/- आकारतात.
कळसूबाई पर्वत
1,646 मीटर्सवर, कळसूबाई पर्वत हे महाराष्ट्रातील सर्वोच्च शिखर आहे, ट्रेकर्सचे आवडते; मराठा युद्धांदरम्यान निरीक्षण पोस्ट म्हणून याला मोक्याचे महत्त्व होते. माथ्यावर एक छोटेसे मंदिर असून त्याच्या अंगणात जुनी विहीर आहे. असे म्हणतात की विहिरीतील पाण्याची पातळी कधीही 3 फूट खाली गेली नाही. घोटी ते बंदरदरा या मार्गावर हे शिखर पाहता येते, धुके आणि ढगांनी भरलेले ते पहाणे आणि त्याच्या सौंदर्यात हरवून जाणे खूप आनंददायक आहे.
रतनगड किल्ला
हा प्राचीन किल्ला शिवाजीने काबीज केला होता आणि तो त्याच्या आवडत्यापैकी एक मानला जातो. हे ट्रेकर्स आणि निसर्ग प्रेमींमध्ये खूप लोकप्रिय आहे आणि वरून चित्तथरारक दृश्ये देतात. रतनवाडी या छोट्या आणि प्राचीन मंदिरापासून हा ट्रेक सुरू होतो. डोंगराच्या माथ्यावरून संपूर्ण दरीचे चित्तथरारक दृश्य दिसते.

Wilson Dam
Built in 1910 on the Pravara-River and standing 150 mts high, Wilson Dam is the largest earthen dam in India. At the base of Wilson Dam, there is a garden endowed with thick greenery, streams, and gigantic trees- the latter, home to hundreds of harmless fruit bats that hand precariously from the branches all through the day. During the monsoon, when the level of the lake rises, the dam opens its gates to release a torrent of water that finds its way down to the plains below. You could stand at the edge of the garden embankment and enjoy the cool spray, or visit the picturesqueUmbrella Falls, which are another major attraction during the monsoon.
Arthur Lake
The lake is fed by the Pravara River and is around 10 Km from the town. Boating in the deep and clear water of the wondrous lake with sights of clouds-covered mountains in the background is truly breathtaking. Local people ply row boats for the tourists and per ride per person, they charge Rs.20/-
Mount Kalsubai
At 1,646 mts, Mount Kalsubai is the highest peak in Maharashtra A favorite of trekkers; it had great strategic importance during the Maratha wars as an observation post. There is a small temple at the top with an old well in its backyard. It is said that the water level in the well has never dropped below 3ft. The peak can be seen on the way from Ghoti to Bandardara, full of fog and clouds it’s a delight to watch it and lose yourself in its beauty.
Ratangarh Fort
This ancient fort was captured by Shivaji and is believed to be one of his favorites. It’s very popular among trekkers and nature lovers and offers breathtaking views from the top. The trek starts from a small and ancient temple, Ratanvadi. The top of the mountain offers a breathtaking view of the whole valley.
Day 03 : Bhandardara-Pune/Mumbai
After B/F return back to Mumbai / Pune on arrival drop at residence / Airport /
