दिवस 01: मुंबई - भीमाशंकर (220 किमी / 5 तास)
मुंबई विमानतळ/रेल्वे स्थानकावर आगमन झाल्यावर भेटा आणि भीमाशंकरला जा. हॉटेलमध्ये आगमन झाल्यावर चेक-इन. तुमच्या स्वतःच्या क्रियाकलापांसाठी संध्याकाळ विनामूल्य.
भीम शंकर ज्योतिर्लिंग मंदिराविषयी
भीमशंकर मंदिर हे नगारा स्थापत्यशैलीतील जुन्या आणि नव्या वास्तूंचा संमिश्र आहे. हे प्राचीन विश्वकर्मा शिल्पकारांनी साधलेल्या कौशल्याची उत्कृष्टता दर्शवते. हे एक माफक पण सुंदर मंदिर आहे आणि ते 13 व्या शतकातील आहे आणि सभा मंडप 18 व्या शतकात नाना फडणवीस यांनी विकसित केला होता. शिखर नाना फडणवीस यांनी बांधला होता. महान मराठा शासक शिवाजी यांनी या मंदिराला उपासना सेवा सुलभ करण्यासाठी देणगी दिली होती असे म्हटले जाते. हॉटेलमध्ये रात्रभर मुक्काम.
दिवस ०२: भीमाशंकर
पहाटे दर्शन आणि आरतीसाठी निघालो. न्याहारी करून भीमाशंकर मंदिराच्या परिसराला भेट दिल्यावर सुमारे २०० घरे असलेले एक छोटेसे गाव आहे. उदरनिर्वाहासाठी पूजा आणि प्रसादाचे साहित्य विकण्याशिवाय लोकांकडे उत्पन्नाचे दुसरे साधन नाही. महाराष्ट्रातील भीमाशंकर हे शिवाच्या १२ ज्योतिर्लिंगांपैकी एक असलेले भीमशंकर हे प्राचीन मंदिर आहे. भीमाशंकर हे पुण्याजवळील खेडच्या वायव्येस ५० किमी अंतरावर भावगिरी गावात आहे. पुण्यापासून 110 किमी अंतरावर सह्याद्रीच्या डोंगररांगांच्या घाटात हे ठिकाण आहे. भीमाशंकर हे भीमा नदीचे उगमस्थान आहे, जी आग्नेयेकडे वाहते आणि रायचूरजवळ कृष्णा नदीत विलीन होते. महाराष्ट्रातील इतर ज्योतिर्लिंग तीर्थे म्हणजे त्र्यंबकेश्वर आणि घृष्णेश्वर.
परिसर
हनुमान तलाव, गुप्त भीमाशंकर, भीमा नदीचे उगमस्थान, नाग फणी, बॉम्बे पॉइंट आणि साक्षी विनायक या परिसरात भेट देता येईल. भीमाशंकर हे 130.78 किमी 2 चे राखीव वनक्षेत्र आहे आणि 1985 मध्ये वन्यजीव अभयारण्य म्हणून घोषित करण्यात आले. हे अभयारण्य पश्चिम घाटाचा एक भाग आहे, म्हणून ते फुलांच्या आणि प्राण्यांच्या विविधतेने समृद्ध आहे. विविध प्रकारचे पक्षी, प्राणी, कीटक, वनस्पती बघायला मिळतात. दुर्मिळ प्राणी मलबार जायंट गिलहरी ज्याला स्थानिक पातळीवर "शेकरू" म्हणतात, खोल जंगलात आढळते. भोरगिरी किल्ला भीमाशंकर जवळ आहे. दिवस 03: भीमाशंकर – मुंबई
